Martin brings 30 years of expertise in Public Safety, specialising in Offender Management (Youth), Tactical Operations, Law Enforcement, Asset Protection, and Risk and Emergency Management. His career spans State and Local Government and Corporate sectors, progressing from Frontline Officer to Senior Management, and equipping him with deep operational and strategic insight.

An active volunteer with the State Emergency Service (SESSA) for 8 years, Martin has contributed significantly to Rescue Operations, including deployments during the River Murray flood crisis. A graduate of the University of South Australia’s Executive Leaders Program, he champions "leading from the front" in high-stakes emergencies.

Byron has come to Trafalgar Consulting as a seasoned professional with over 41 years of experience in policing and emergency response. Throughout his career, he has held various roles, including major event and risk management planning, counter terrorism, and tactical operations. His expertise in managing high-pressure situations is complemented by his skills as a specialist forensic search officer, where he contributed to numerous critical investigations. In addition to his law enforcement career, Byron is also a trained commercial pilot and flight instructor, demonstrating his diverse skill set. His experience in aviation has allowed him to blend his policing and emergency response knowledge with aviation safety and operations. Byron’s career is defined by his commitment to public safety, operational excellence, and his ability to adapt across fields. His work in risk management and counter terrorism has made him a valuable asset in complex, high-stakes environments, while his teaching and mentoring roles have shaped the next generation of professionals.

With an extensive and diversified career in law enforcement, Scott brings a highly refined skill set with respect to training, investigations and risk management. Scott began his career with the NSW Police, moving from criminal investigations to successfully implement crime and risk reduction initiatives as a Crime Prevention Officer.
Scott went on to serve with the Australian Federal Police, where he trained domestic and overseas agencies in community safety initiatives, investigations and incident management.
He later moved to the Office of the NSW Ombudsman, where he specialised in advising agencies on the management of whistleblowers, integrity and information security.
Scott last served with the Tasmania Police, ultimately coordinating the state’s community policing functions, developing multi-agency partnerships to reduce crime and the fear of crime. Scott holds qualifications in training, investigations, policing and law. He also is currently completing study in intelligence analysis.
Ultimately, Scott is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience, and empowering others to succeed and fulfil their potential.
